In early 2020, I was scheduled to speak at the Mid-America Prophecy Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma. My topic was “Spirit of the Antichrist.” Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic led to the canceling of that conference and almost all my other conferences that year. With no speaking engagements and a lot of time on my hands, I decided to spend time expanding my research and turning what was originally scheduled to be a single sixty-minute message into an extended series.
In the late summer of 2020, I began teaching what ended up being an eighteen-part, fourteen-hour series entitled, “Spirit of the Antichrist,” at Plum Creek Chapel, in Sedalia, Colorado. Each week I addressed various manifestations of the spirit of the Antichrist that is already at work in the world (1 John 4:3). The series lasted several months and eventually became a DVD set that is available for purchase or streaming at the Not By Works Ministries online store.
Little did I know when I began preparing in the fall of 2019 for my 2020 Mid-America Prophecy Conference message, that by the time I actually started presenting the material, we would be in the throes of a worldwide crisis. Each week the information in my presentations became more and more relevant. The world was witnessing deception and tyranny on a global scale like never before, and most people were oblivious. Things were happening so fast I could scarcely keep up.
I concluded that series in late 2020, but world events by no means slowed down. Rigged elections, civil unrest, staged insurrections, medical tyranny, and many more pivotal events unfolded over the next year. It is all setting the stage for the one-world, Satanically inspired government that the Bible predicts will emerge in the end times. I have studied this subject for many years and written about it in my 2012 book The Great Last Days Deception: Exposing Satan’s New World Order Agenda. Yet there have been so many new developments, it seemed like the time was right for a more comprehensive, detailed overview of the Luciferian Conspiracy and how it fits into the biblical worldview.
The book you are about to read is the first in a two-part series in which I interpret the world-changing events of the past couple of years through the lens of Scripture and provide you with a framework for understanding what lies ahead. I expand the focus significantly beyond what I covered in the eighteen-part video series. You will notice in the extensive bibliography at the end of the book that many of the sources I consulted during my research were not published until 2021 and 2022, some more than a year after I completed the teaching series. Even if you have watched the Spirit of the Antichrist video series, you will find the information in this book to be fresh, timely, and far more in depth than what I cover in the videos.
I encourage you to read each chapter with a critical eye and run everything through the grid of Scripture. Do not simply take my word for it. Chances are you will be exposed to several topics you have never considered before. Yet, in the end, I am confident you will begin to recognize the pervasive manifestations of the spirit of the Antichrist all around you.
