Not By Works is the ministry web site of J. B. Hixson. J. B. has served in pastoral and academic ministry for more than 25 years.
He earned his B.A. degree from Houston Baptist University, Th.M. degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, and Ph.D. degree from Baptist Bible Seminary. Dr. Hixson has been involved in pastoral and academic ministry since 1987. He is the author of the books Getting the Gospel Wrong (2008), The Gospel Unplugged (2011), and the forthcoming book The Great Last Days Deception (2012), as well as numerous theological journal articles. J. B. and his wife Wendy live with their six children in the Houston, Texas area.
